• Display Name (Optional): A name you choose to give us. This is entirely optional and can be anything you want.
• Contacts: We access your contacts solely to enable you to select message recipients. Contact data is processed locally and only phone numbers of selected recipients are transmitted to our servers for message delivery.
• Message Selections: We store which predefined messages you choose to send. Note: All messages are predefined by LoveText—users cannot create custom message content.

That's it. We don't collect your email, location, browsing history, or any other personal data.

2. No Tracking, No Ads

We respect your privacy completely:

• No App Tracking: We do not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) or any cross-app tracking. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
• No Third-Party Analytics: We don't share your data with analytics providers or ad networks.
• No Advertising: LoveText is ad-free. We will never show you ads or sell your data to advertisers.
• No Behavioral Profiling: We don't build profiles about you or your behavior.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Deliver predefined messages to your selected recipients
• Verify your identity and prevent fraud
• Communicate with you about the Service (account verification only)
• Improve and optimize our Service

4. Information Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Share your contacts with advertisers
• Use your data for targeted advertising
• Store your full contact list on our servers

We may share limited information with:

• SMS delivery providers (phone numbers only, for message delivery)
• Payment processors (for transaction processing)
• Law enforcement when required by law

5. SMS Communications Policy

Our SMS policy is designed to be minimally intrusive:

• Maximum One SMS Per User: Each phone number can receive a maximum of one (1) SMS message from LoveText during their entire lifetime. This is a hard limit that cannot be exceeded.
• Purpose: SMS is used only for account verification or to notify someone that they have received a message through LoveText.
• No Marketing: We never send marketing messages, promotional content, or reminders via SMS.
• Legal Compliance: All SMS communications comply with applicable laws in the recipient's jurisdiction, including:
  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) - United States
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) - European Union
  • CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation) - Canada
  • Other applicable local telecommunications regulations
• Opt-Out: Recipients can opt out by replying STOP. Once opted out, that phone number will never receive another SMS from LoveText.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data, secure server infrastructure, and regular security audits. Phone numbers are stored in hashed format. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service. Specifically:

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Message delivery records are retained for 30 days
• SMS opt-out records are retained permanently to ensure compliance
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of SMS communications
• Data portability

9. Predefined Message Content

All messages sent through LoveText are predefined by us. Users select from a curated library of positive, uplifting messages. This ensures that:

• No inappropriate or harmful content can be sent through our platform
• All messages maintain a positive, encouraging tone
• Users cannot use the service for harassment or spam

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your information remains protected.
